The 2022 Ascend 128X is a sit-on kayak built with a one-piece rotomolded catamaran hull designed for stability, tracking, and performance. At 12.67 feet long and 2.83 feet wide, it's engineered to handle both casual paddling and serious fishing.

The kayak's Yak-Power system stands out as its defining feature—a built-in electrical setup with wiring harness, master controller, and three power plugs that support fishfinders, GPS units, lighting rigs, and other powered accessories. A molded landing plate simplifies mounting optional electronics. Four 16-inch accessory rails along the gunwale flats enable extensive customization. The open cockpit, recessed bow storage, and hidden hatch fasteners provide flexible storage options, while the molded midship hatch (10.91 by 14.84 inches) keeps gear dry.

Comfort and functionality define the layout. The deluxe enhanced seating system features a high-back seat with underseat storage, adjustable foot braces, and non-skid cushioned flooring for a stable casting platform. Two drink holders keep beverages accessible. Eight molded scupper drains with plugs manage water drainage, and fishing-specific details include rod staging and tackle storage molded into each side, two flush-mounted rod holders with leash eyelets, and black powder-coated interior carrying handles.
