The 2022 Azimut S8 is an 80-foot sports cruiser built on a fiberglass hull and powered by three Volvo Penta diesel engines producing 3,000 hp combined. The boat reaches a maximum speed of 34 knots and cruises at 28 knots. It features Volvo IPS pod drives with a dynamic positioning system and joystick control, enabling easy single-operator handling. A custom folding mast lowers the air draft for navigating restricted waterways.
The S8 accommodates four staterooms and four heads, sleeping up to ten guests with additional third berths in both guest cabins. Separate crew quarters provide accommodation for three crew members across two dedicated staterooms. The salon features upgraded hardwoods, and the cockpit includes a third maneuvering station for enhanced control options.
Equipment includes a 32 kW generator, Sea-Keeper M18 gyroscopic stabilization, Garmin Gold navigation package, a Naviop upgrade package, smart audio and video systems, SAT TV antenna with six feeds, and upgraded FLIR thermal imaging. A luxury outdoor lighting package and a tender launching system with jet-ski capability are installed. The Volvo engines and pods carry an extended warranty through June 2026.
Engine hours reflect primarily low-speed delivery operation to the northeast and Great Lakes, with minimal hard running. A custom folding mast accommodates varying clearance requirements.
