2022 Balance 482

The 2022 Balance 482 is a 48-foot fiberglass catamaran engineered for serious offshore sailing. Winner of Sailing World and Cruising World's Best Performance Catamaran award, this design combines speed with sea-kindly handling. The hull features carbon-reinforced, foam-core construction with high-aspect daggerboards for efficient upwind performance and pointing ability. Twin 90-horsepower Yammer engines provide auxiliary power, while the boat is rigged with premium Ullman ASDL tri-radial sails. The VersaHelm system offers flexible steering and optimal visibility across varying conditions.
