The Bali 4.2 is a 42-foot catamaran built around a thoughtful design that balances open-plan living with practical cruising capability. Twin Yanmar diesel engines deliver reliable propulsion, while the hull's wide beam and distinctive flybridge create interior space and accommodation rarely found in comparable boats. A signature pull-down garage door between the cockpit and salon allows the space to shift between fully enclosed shelter and open-air living, adapting to whatever conditions you encounter.

The four-cabin layout offers private en-suite accommodation throughout, each with a separate shower stall and electric head with fresh water supply. A crew berth and crew head occupy the bow compartments, adding flexibility for larger groups or charter operations. The main salon is bright and open, lined with hull windows and lateral sliding glass, while the galley carries a three-burner gas stove with oven, double-basin sink, and 89-gallon refrigeration and freezer unit suited to extended passages. Cabin amenities include blackout pleated blinds, 12V fans, and USB sockets.

The boat carries extensive systems for comfortable offshore cruising: reverse-cycle air conditioning throughout, a 12-volt watermaker producing 105 gallons per hour, and 212 gallons of fuel capacity paired with 227 gallons of fresh water tankage. A Raymarine Axiom 7-inch multifunction display sits at the flybridge helm with autopilot control, while wired and wireless VHF handsets serve navigation and deck communication. An Onan 9-kilowatt generator with sound dampening powers the vessel's electrical systems.

Deck layout includes teak finishing on the aft and forward cockpits with fitted cushions, stainless steel bow pulpits, rigid lifelines, and a swim platform equipped with dinghy davits. Twin stainless steel bow pulpits with seats, a hot and cold cockpit shower, and a canvas bimini top on collapsible frame complete the exterior. The sail plan consists of a Dacron mainsail with stack pack and furling jib, both managed by electric winches. Safety equipment includes a 20-kilogram galvanized anchor with all-chain rode, a liferaft rated for over 24 persons, flares, first aid kit, horseshoe buoys, and fire extinguishers.
