This 2022 Ballotta KSS P65 is a 65-foot fiberglass powercat with a 28.5-foot beam, built for comfortable cruising and capable of 24 knots at full throttle. Twin Yanmar 6LY2A diesel engines of 440 hp each provide direct drive propulsion, with both powerplants at 550 hours as of March 2024. The catamaran cruises efficiently at 18 knots and carries 1,000 gallons of fuel across two stainless steel tanks.
The accommodation plan features four double cabins and four heads. The galley is equipped with a Teka induction oven and cooktop, Samsung refrigerator-freezer, U-Line ice maker, and Teka microwave. A 70-inch LG television, water heater, and DirecTV satellite antenna support comfort throughout the interior. Fresh water capacity totals 400 gallons, with 140 gallons of black water tankage.
The electronics suite centers on Raymarine plotters, GPS, radar, autopilot, and speedometer, complemented by an Icom VHF radio, Ritchie compass, and a Fusion Apollo audio system with JL Audio flybridge speakers. Power comes from two Northern Lights generators—a 25 kW unit at 1,102 hours and a 5 kW unit at 1,017 hours—backed by a Victron Energy 5,000-watt inverter and Mastervolt AGM batteries. Eight Dometic air conditioning units (10,000 BTU each) cool the spaces. Additional features include six Johnson bilge pumps, a 1,700-pound hydraulic crane, and a Kenyon BBQ grill. The hull was painted blue and the bottom antifouled in November 2023.
