2022 Boston Whaler 405 Conquest

The 2022 Boston Whaler 405 Conquest is a 40-foot hardtop pilothouse built for open-water cruising and day running alike. Powered by triple Mercury Verado V12 engines producing 1,800 total horsepower, she combines serious range and fuel efficiency with the handling agility the 405 platform is known for. The joystick control system and gyro stabilizer make operation intuitive in varied conditions, while the integrated electronics suite—dual Raymarine Axiom XL displays, open array radar with satellite weather, FLIR thermal imaging, and full navigation packages—support confident navigation and situational awareness.

The cockpit layout centers on helm station operation from the helm deck, with full side glass and a bow sunshade protecting the working area. Aft is an open-air social space featuring a cockpit table, foldout bench seating on the starboard side, and teak flooring in the helm and deck zone. A summer kitchen includes refrigeration, a Corian sink, and cooktop access. Below, a top-loading freezer is recessed under the starboard seating. Underwater lighting, a spotlight, and premium JL Audio systems throughout—helm deck cockpit speakers, aft-facing amplification, and salon infotainment—round out the appointed interior.

The 405 has been maintained by a captain and stored under cover in an air-conditioned hangar for ten months each year, limiting saltwater and sun exposure to approximately two months annually. A recent full-boat ceramic coating has been applied to the hull and topside surfaces. The bottom paint is current. Electronics, mechanical systems, and structural condition reflect the protected service history and attentive ownership.
