2022 Chaparral 300 OSX

The 2022 Chaparral 300 OSX is a 30-foot open-bow design powered by twin Yamaha 300-horsepower four-stroke outboards. The hybrid layout combines a spacious forward lounge with oversized seating and a 140-quart built-in cooler beneath the bow, flowing into a large cockpit sheltered by a fiberglass hardtop with bonded skylight. The 22-degree deadrise hull, reinforced with Kevlar laminate and composite transom coring, delivers solid handling in varied water conditions. A 170-gallon fuel capacity supports extended cruising or day-use versatility.

Below deck lies a mid-cabin with a forward berth, convertible dinette, electric head with holding tank, and vanity with sink. The cabin includes opening portlights and dedicated LED lighting. Topside, the hardtop features LED courtesy lights, an optional SureShade retractable canvas extension, and the cockpit is self-bailing with integrated drainage. A full-beam swim platform with integrated ladder and transom door complete the access points.

Equipment reflects a well-appointed specification. Twin Simrad NSS9 EVO3 multifunction displays with chartplotter and GPS occupy the helm, paired with Yamaha Helm Master joystick steering for precise control. JL Audio powers a six-speaker entertainment system with Sirius satellite tuning. Climate control includes 12-volt air conditioning, while a summer kitchen galley behind the helm seats offers a refrigerator and sink. Shore power 120-volt inlet with three-bank charger, pressurized fresh water system with transom shower, and a stainless steel anchor windlass with 270 feet of rope and 15 feet of chain are included.
