The 2022 Cobalt R4 is a 24-foot bowrider built on Cobalt's Kevlar-reinforced fiberglass hull with a composite transom and fiberglass stringer system. Power comes from a Volvo Penta V8-350 duoprop sterndrive rated at 350 horsepower, paired with stainless steel FH5 propellers. The boat features trim tabs with indicators, through-prop exhaust, and a 50-gallon fuel tank with certified capacity for 13 passengers. At 8.5 feet beam, the design balances stability with maneuverability across varied water conditions.
The helm is equipped with dual oversized Garmin 8610 glass-cockpit displays, a premium Bluetooth sound system with six speakers and transom and arch speakers, a depth and water-temperature package, and wireless phone charging. Navigation and docking are supported by a powered windlass with all-chain anchor, stainless docking lights, and stainless ski pylon. A white folding arch provides 97 inches of bridge clearance, with an aftermarket Cobalt rotating tower sunshade mounted above. Seating includes a Del Mar helm captain's chair, flip-backrest passenger seat, and Varadense comfort seating throughout, plus a three-position convertible sundeck lounger. The bow walk-thru door features a center cushion insert, and the interior employs the Caramel/Carbon color scheme with Dark Driftwood trim. Additional features include dual molded-in ice chests, full aftermarket SeaDeck flooring, a flip-down swim step, bow shade sail, and a Transhield cover. The boat also carries a dual battery switch with automatic charging relay.
The boat shows 79 hours of use and has been kept in dry storage under cover throughout its ownership, never in a slip. It received ceramic coating in 2023 and again in 2026. Within the last 30 days the trailer tires were replaced with new units and both batteries were replaced. The boat comes with a trailer and all original documentation.
