The 2022 East Cape Vantage VHP is a 19-foot flats boat built on a composite hull with Kevlar reinforcement. Powered by a single 115 hp Mercury engine, it combines the shallow-draft capabilities and maneuverability of a skiff with the rough-water performance of a larger bay boat. The boat is equipped with dual eight-foot power poles, an Atlas jack plate, Bennett trim tabs, and a 36-volt Minn Kota trolling motor with lithium batteries to handle shallow water and precise positioning.
The center console layout includes a jump seat and an integrated poling platform with backrest, alongside a casting platform with backrest for angling flexibility. The boat holds up to four anglers comfortably with dedicated storage for gear. Electronics include a Simrad NSS evo3 with 3-in-1 transducer, and audio features a JL Audio MM50 amplifier powering four 7.7-inch JL speakers plus Sirius radio. The boat also carries a Power Pole charge system for charging power poles while running.
The Vantage VHP comes with an aluminum trailer fitted with a spare tire and includes a 40-gallon fuel tank. The lightweight composite construction is designed to provide durability and strength while maintaining the minimal weight needed for efficient shallow-water operation.
