2022 Galeon 470 Sky

The 2022 Galeon 470 Sky combines the streamlined profile of an express cruiser with the entertaining space of a full flybridge. Twin Volvo Penta D8 diesel engines producing 1,200 horsepower deliver a maximum speed of 30 knots and a cruising speed of 22 knots. The hull is fiberglass construction with a beam of 14 feet 4 inches that expands to nearly 19 feet with flip-down cockpit sides, maximizing space for entertaining.

The boat features a three-cabin, two-head layout with a master suite, VIP bow berth with adjoining head, and twin bunk cabin. The main salon includes a 40-inch retractable television, the master has a 32-inch screen, and the VIP berth includes a 24-inch TV. High-gloss cabinetry throughout pairs with a JL Audio sound system fitted with a Fusion head unit. The low-profile flybridge includes electric side enclosures and a quick-fold bimini top, designed to allow passage under bridges while maintaining the ability to open the boat for entertaining.

Powered operation is enhanced by joystick control through a wireless Dock Mate controller that integrates the bow thruster and anchor windlass for solo handling. A hydraulic swim platform with integrated articulating ladder and capacity to lift a tender or jet ski sits at the stern, paired with a retractable electric barbecue. The cockpit features a flip-up exterior bar with stools on the port side, and a spacious storage locker beneath the bench seating. Additional equipment includes a 12-kilowatt diesel generator, Raymarine autopilot and radar, VHF and AIS, and a Zip Wake dynamic trim control system for automatic pitch and roll management.
