The 2022 Galeon 500 Fly is a 50-foot flybridge yacht powered by twin 1,340-horsepower Volvo diesel engines. With only 400 operating hours, the boat has been carefully maintained throughout its service life. Recent work includes a full engine service, complete hull detailing, and refinishing of the prop, rudder, thrusters, and swim platform completed in January. Bottom paint was applied with one coat of Triton and two coats at the waterline. The Volvo engines remain under warranty through February 2027.
The interior pairs dark walnut matte cabinetry and wood flooring with an Enea Bianco color scheme, contrasted against white and mocha exterior colors. Large panoramic windows flood the saloon and staterooms with natural light. The full-beam master suite includes an en-suite head with mosaic shower details and a washer-dryer for convenience. Comfort and Full Control packages enhance onboard systems throughout.
The expansive flybridge—one of the largest in its class—features a hard top with soft-top opening, electric grill, icemaker, and drawer refrigerator. The aft cockpit includes a fiberglass lowerable table, rotating seating, and fold-out balconies that extend the deck space and create an open terrace. A hydraulic swim platform sits below, and underwater LED lighting illuminates the platform and port side wing.
Equipment includes bow and stern thrusters for maneuverability, a Seakeeper 6 gyro stabilizer, and a hydraulic tender garage. Navigation and communication systems feature a Chartplotter Axiom 16XL, VHF Ray91 with AIS, upgraded Magnum Open Radar Antenna 48", autopilot, and a second Axiom chartplotter at the main station. Protective window covers and exterior seating covers are included.
