2022 Hobie Cat Mirage Tandem Island

This 2022 Hobie Cat Mirage Tandem Island is an 18-foot tandem sail kayak built from fiberglass. The hull features large AMA outriggers that provide stability and fold inward for convenient docking and transport. When wind conditions ease, the dual Mirage Drives with kick-up fins allow paddling power to return to shore.

The cockpit accommodates two paddlers with tandem Vantage seats positioned for comfort and control. Access to storage is provided by Twist and Seal hatches along the deck and a large bow hatch for gear stowage. A rear cargo area and rod holders round out the onboard facilities.

Navigation and handling are managed through an Island rudder system with dual rudder controls, giving both paddlers input on steering and directional control.
