2022 Intrepid 477 Evolution

The 2022 Intrepid 477 Evolution is a 47-foot express cruiser powered by three Mercury V12 600 engines totaling 1800 horsepower. The boat cruises comfortably at 35 knots and reaches speeds of 60 knots. A custom marlin tower with forward seating dominates the upper deck. The yacht features joystick piloting with integrated autopilot, a Seakeeper 6 stabilization system, and a Vetus 24-volt bow thruster for enhanced maneuverability.

The electronics suite includes dual Garmin 8622 multifunction displays, Garmin open array radar, and a TV5 Tracvision system. Navigation and communication are supported by an ICOM VHF radio, with additional conveniences including a remote spotlight, electronic horn, and FLIR night vision. Audio is managed through a Fusion head unit with JL Audio and Rockford Fosgate speakers throughout. Navigation is enhanced by trim tabs and a Maxwell 24-volt windlass.

Below deck, accommodations include a Kenyon cooktop, GE microwave, and Isotherm refrigeration. The galley features a cockpit refrigerator and ice maker. The cockpit area includes a grill, sink, and retractable sun shade. Access to the water is provided via hydraulic swim door on the port side and manual door on the starboard. A fold-down transom seat and exterior Plasdeck decking complete the topside layout.

Fishing capability is built into the design with port and starboard transom bait wells featuring windows, Taco outriggers, and insulated fish boxes. Auxiliary power is supplied by an 11-kilowatt Kohler diesel generator. The engines carry factory warranty through 2030, with service work recently completed and a new bottom job applied in March 2025.
