This 2022 J/99 is a 32.6-foot fiberglass racing cruiser built for both single-handed and fully crewed sailing. The boat features a Volvo D1-20 diesel saildrive engine with 20 hp, balanced rudder, and tiller steering. Black aluminum mast and boom are rigged with a comprehensive sail inventory from Incidence Sails: a 33 m² mainsail in aramide sport, 27 m² J2 genoa, 22 m² solent, and an 78 m² asymmetric spinnaker with self-stowing system.
The interior layout accommodates two to four crew for cruising or eight for day sailing. The main cabin has two full-length settee berths and an L-shaped galley with stove, icebox, and pressurized water system. A proper nav station sits to starboard with a drop-leaf table, and there is a separate double aft cabin with privacy door. The forepeak houses the head and sail storage. Additional comfort features include a 12V air conditioning unit, freshwater point in the forward cabin with sink, two hull portholes, removable swim ladder, shore power 220V charger, and a 6-person liferaft.
Electronics and navigation are comprehensive: H5000 pilot system with graphic display and precision autopilot, WS710 wind pack with wireless remote, Zeus 3S chart plotter with worldwide base maps, DST800 depth and speed transducer, VHF radio with AIS/VHF splitter, and RF25 rudder angle sensor. Onboard security and cruising gear include offshore safety equipment, Marlow mooring lines with five fender sets, protective canvas, and dock extension.
The hull underwent professional paint booth preparation including barrier sanding, epoxy primer, antifoul application, flush through-hull fittings, and keel joint and saildrive seal refinishing. The engine receives annual service maintenance.
