2022 Malibu Wakesetter 23 MXZ

The 2022 Malibu Wakesetter 23 MXZ is a 23-foot wake and surf boat built on a fiberglass hull with a pickle-fork bow design. It's powered by a 360 hp Malibu Monsoon M5DI engine with 149 hours. The boat is engineered specifically for watersports, with a hull designed to sit deeper in the water at slower speeds to generate ideal wakes and surf waves while maintaining the comfort and luxury appointments of a premium runabout.

The cockpit accommodates up to 16 people across multiple seating areas. The bow features spacious, deep seating with USB charging and cup holders. The helm station includes a power-lift seat with swivel, a sport dash with rotary joystick, and an advanced control interface. The rear includes a multi-position Wake View Bench Seat that converts between forward-facing seating, rear-facing positions, and a picnic table configuration. A walkover filler cushion transforms the aft sun pad into additional lounging space.

The boat is outfitted with comprehensive technology and entertainment systems. Dual HD cameras—one on the bow for docking and one on the transom for rear viewing—feed footage to the MaliView screen. A Wet Sounds Icon 8 speaker system with tower speakers provides audio. Additional features include ballast and Power Wedge III systems for wave control, underwater lights, a 12-inch subwoofer, docking lights, a heater, stainless cup holders, and soft-grip flooring throughout high-contact areas for comfort and safety. A bimini top and boat cover are included, along with a dual-axle trailer.
