The 2022 MasterCraft XT23 is a 23-foot 4-inch multi-sport boat built for watersports performance. It carries up to 16 people and features a higher freeboard than its predecessor, along with a redesigned hull intended to handle both skiing and wakeboarding. The boat is powered by a standard 6.0-liter Ilmor Marine engine, with optional 5.3L and 6.2L variants available, all equipped with underwater exhaust to reduce noise.

The XT23 centers on the SurfStar system, which generates customizable waves with 3,300 pounds of ballast capacity. A 12-inch touchscreen helm allows personalized driving and surf profiles that can be adjusted on the fly. The boat offers three tower options—the Z6, Z8, and Z10—all designed to be lowered by a single person. Interior and gel coat options include CoolFeel vinyl upholstery to minimize heat absorption in the sun.

Storage totals 74 cubic feet, and the boat holds 79 gallons of fuel. The 2022 model year introduced new tower configurations, upgraded touchscreen controls, and expanded customization choices for interior finishes.
