2022 NauticStar 227 Bay

The 2022 NauticStar 227 Bay is a 22.5-foot fiberglass bay boat powered by a Yamaha F200 outboard. With only 27.2 hours of engine time, it features a hydraulic jackplate, trim tabs, and a tandem-axle aluminum Magic Tilt trailer. The helm includes a tilt wheel, Simrad 9-inch display with 3-in-1 transducer, AM/FM Bluetooth stereo, and a gauge package. Navigation lights are integrated into the rubrail with additional LED courtesy lights throughout.

The layout balances fishing and family use. The forward deck accommodates two anglers with room for a trolling motor, and the elevated two-tone console houses six stainless-steel vertical rod holders. The center console features in-console baitwell with aerator and recirculation. Four additional rocket launchers sit off the leaning post, which includes a backrest, storage, rod holders, folding footrest, and a 94-quart Igloo cooler. A two-step bow with storage compartments serves the forward section.

The aft deck consists of three folding jump seats with pedestal bases and a 30-gallon insulated fish box. A livewell with aerator and 500-gallon-per-hour recirculation pump is fitted aft, along with drop-in tackle storage and molded-in cast net storage. Port and starboard rod boxes hold ten rods total. Transom-mounted swim ladder and tackle storage enhance versatility. A raw water high-pressure washdown system is included.

The hull employs wood-free composite construction with vinyl ester barrier coat and a fiberglass stringer system. The self-bailing cockpit features molded non-skid surface. Hardware includes stainless-steel thru-hull fittings, rub rail, latches, six pull-up cleats, and six drink holders. Teleflex SeaStar Pro hydraulic steering and Teleflex control cables manage operation. Syntec vinyl upholstery includes Nano-Block stain protection.
