2022 Persico 69F

The Persico 69F is a one-design foiling monohull built from full carbon prepreg by Persico Marine. At 24 feet long and 13 feet of beam, the boat weighs just 380 kilograms and features a fully battened square-top mainsail, fully battened jib, and gennaker with a total sail area of 69 square meters. The foiling design enables speeds of approximately 30 knots when the hulls lift from the water.

Construction employs carbon, aluminum, and steel molds to ensure uniformity across all boats and components. Each hull carries a uniformity and compliance certificate from Q.I. Composites, a laboratory specializing in non-destructive testing. RFID tags embedded in individual components allow measurement verification without traditional measuring devices, maintaining strict adherence to class rules.

The one-design concept means no adjustments to shrouds, forestay tension, hiking straps, or other equipment are permitted. Sails are provided by the class organization and remain identical for all boats, preserving the racing guidelines that keep each boat standardized in setup and performance.
