The Red Sky 29 Antibes is a 29-foot sports cruiser built in 2022 using a hybrid wood-epoxy construction system. The hull combines cedar planking, carbon fibre reinforcement, and mahogany with Douglas fir framing to achieve both classic proportions and modern performance. Powered by a Mercury Verado 50 hp outboard engine, the boat reaches 42 knots and cruises at 35 knots, with trim tab control for enhanced handling.
The single cabin features a V-berth layout and one head. The boat includes a windscreen with hardtop bimini and white custom marine vinyl seating on stainless frames. Navigation is supported by a Simrad NSS eco3S 16-inch chartplotter system with Mercury Vessel-link integration. Solar panels provide supplementary power.
Stability and manoeuvrability are enhanced by a Sleipner Side Power bow and sternthrusters, and a Quick MC2 X2 gyroscopic stabiliser mounted in the independent hull module. The modular hull design separates the bottom structure—which houses fuel tank, electrical infrastructure, and thruster mounting—from the superstructure, allowing flexibility in customisation. The boat was designed by Allan Savolainen and demonstrates Finnish craftmanship in its detailed execution and proportioned design.
