2022 Velocity VR1

The 2022 Velocity VR1 is a 28-foot high-performance offshore boat powered by twin Mercury Racing 450R engines producing 900 horsepower. The fiberglass hull measures 8.17 feet across the beam and is built for serious speed and open-water capability. With only 55 hours of engine time, the boat was professionally set up and tuned at Mercury's Lake X facility.

The twin engines are equipped with two sets of propellers, including a new Mercury Racing CNC-machined set with cases. The engines remain under warranty. The rigging has been dialed in for optimal performance and handling, reflecting the boat's race-derived heritage and engineering.
