The 2022 Walker Bay Generation 400 is a 13-foot rigid inflatable boat built with a composite hull using Walker Bay's proprietary polyurethane micro stringer system. Powered by a Yamaha 50 hp four-stroke outboard with electronic fuel injection, electric start, and power trim and tilt, the boat combines light weight with structural strength. The deep V-hull design and advanced bonding between hull and deck—using unidirectional glass and polyurethane grid construction—reduce flexing and deliver a smooth ride while improving speed and fuel efficiency.
The open layout prioritizes comfort and usability. The cabin offers generous legroom and headroom relative to its class, with additional storage in the stern. A synthetic teak floor, retractable ski pole, and stern boarding ladder are standard. The boat accommodates a full array of instrumentation: speedometer, tachometer with integrated fuel gauge, auto bilge system, and running lights.
Electronics include a Garmin full-color GPS and JL Audio stereo system. The boat comes with a custom-fit charcoal grey cover featuring port-side zipper access for convenient deployment. A 2021 Load Rite trailer is included.
