This 2022 Zar Formenti 85 is a 28-foot rigid inflatable built in Italy with composite construction and designed as a capable tender for extended Caribbean use. Twin Mercury 225 hp engines power the boat, each with approximately 350 hours of operation. The design combines inflatable tubes with a fiberglass hardtop featuring stainless steel framing and includes a removable sunshade with matching poles.
The layout accommodates multiple uses with a V-berth forward fitted with a 7,000 BTU air-conditioner, lounge seating adjacent to the console, and a U-shaped aft seating area with removable cockpit table. An outdoor galley module occupies the aft section, featuring dual-drawer stainless steel refrigeration, sink, and countertop space. Dual helm seats flank the forward console. Synthetic teak-style flooring spans the deck, and outdoor upholstery coordinates with the boat's colour scheme.
Electronics and systems include a Garmin 8612 chartplotter with integrated sounder and thru-hull transducer, VHF radio, LED search light, and Fusion stereo system with amplifier and JL speakers. The boat is equipped with a windlass and anchor integrated into the hull, freshwater tank, battery charger, and Lumitec LED underwater lights. A full cover and dual-axle aluminum trailer are included.
