The Altena 54 Next Generation is a steel motor yacht with refined contemporary styling and robust construction. Twin John Deere diesel engines of 250 hp each power the vessel. The hull spans 55 feet in length with a 16-foot beam, providing a substantial platform for extended cruising.
The saloon and wheelhouse form the heart of the yacht, featuring a U-shaped dinette with electrically height-adjustable table, abundant glazing for visibility, and a large Webasto electric panoramic sliding roof above the helm. Four folding matte black doors with polished stainless frames open onto the aft deck, which sits level with the saloon for seamless flow. Two side doors provide direct access to the gangways. A sliding suncover protects the aft cockpit, and teak decking wraps the exterior with approximately 6 mm thickness.
Accommodation includes two cabins and four heads. The owner's and guest cabins offer generous storage, while bathrooms feature warmed mirrors, ventilation with adjustable positions, and heated towel radiators. The galley is equipped with an ATAG dishwasher and a mixer tap with flexible rinsing head. Underfloor heating serves the saloon, galley, steering position, and bathrooms. Air conditioning in the sleeping areas provides both cooling and heating. The saloon features a television on an elevator system.
Comfort and performance systems include Vetus hydraulic stabilizers mounted amidships, twin Ankreo spud poles, a SIMRAD FU80 autopilot with follow-up steering, and Yachtcontrol software integration. Additional features comprise a deck wash installation, camera to the afterdeck, ample closet space, and spacious gangways. Minimum clearance height with the mast folded is approximately 3.65 meters.
