2023 Blue Wave 2800 Makaira

The 2023 Blue Wave 2800 Makaira is a 27-foot center console built on a fiberglass hull and powered by three Suzuki engines totaling 900 horsepower. The design balances offshore capability with shallow-water performance, drawing on the proven 2800 Pure Hybrid platform. High freeboard and substantial fuel capacity support extended runs to distant fishing grounds, while shallow draft lets you fish bays and coastal shallows with equal ease.

The open layout maximizes both functionality and comfort. Built-in rod storage runs along the gunwales, and a custom rod rack accommodates up to 20 rods. The bow features seating and an optional Frigid Rigid coffin box that doubles as a forward lounge. Inside the console, there is space for a porta potti, dedicated console access, and generous storage throughout. Toe kicks and combing bolsters provide support during long days on the water, and the cockpit and deck space suit serious offshore fishing, including marlin work.

This boat is equipped with a Minn Kota trolling motor, Garmin radar, two Garmin 8612 chartplotters, and dual Power Poles for station-keeping.
