The 2023 Contender 24 Sport is a center console built on a fiberglass hull and powered by a single Yamaha F300 engine rated at 300 horsepower. The boat carries approximately 750 hours of engine time and delivers fuel efficiency exceeding 2.5 miles per gallon at 30 knots, supported by 130 gallons of fuel capacity. The boat comes equipped with twin Simrad 12-inch multifunction displays offering sonar, charting, and GPS capability, plus a premium stereo system. A Sport Trail aluminum trailer is included.
The layout centers on a versatile console with forward bench seating that can be converted to a U-shape with a removable seat insert. An anchor locker sits forward, with 59-gallon storage compartments beneath the forward seats. The 94-gallon forward fish box and 26-gallon above-deck livewell support fishing operations, while two 30-gallon aft fish boxes provide additional capacity. Console seating includes insulated storage, and the aft section offers additional seating with bilge access. An optional head is available as part of the step-down console design. The helm features a custom sport console with integrated pod layout and an oversized in-deck bilge access point.
The 24 Sport delivers a smooth, dry ride suited to both offshore work and shallow-water exploration. Its design balances day-trip comfort with serious fishing capability across inshore and offshore applications.
