2023 Contender 44 Fisharound

The 2023 Contender 44 Fisharound is an offshore walkaround built on the proven 44ST hull mold. Powered by three Mercury engines totaling 1,800 horsepower, it combines serious performance credentials with a 12-foot beam that delivers stability and a smooth ride in challenging open water. The fiberglass construction and hull design are engineered for speed and seaworthiness in pursuit of offshore fishing.

Below deck, the boat accommodates overnight trips with a queen-sized berth, an enclosed head with shower, and a full galley featuring a sink, refrigerator/freezer, and stovetop. The fish-around layout prioritizes both comfort and functionality, making extended cruising practical. Tournament-ready fishing is supported by upgraded Release Marine Stadium Seating positioned for visibility and access.

Notable systems and upgrades include a Seakeeper Gyro Stabilizer, Mercury Joystick Piloting, an onboard generator, JL Audio sound system, and a head with holding tank and overboard discharge. Yacht Armor PPF coating has been applied to all interior surfaces and engines for protection. Mercury recently completed 500 hours of service. The boat has been kept in freshwater and maintained consistently throughout its life.
