2023 De Antonio Yachts D42 Open

The 2023 De Antonio D42 Open is a 42-foot fiberglass cruiser built around entertaining and day-use versatility. Powered by triple Mercury 400 HP engines, the boat reaches a maximum speed of 46 knots and cruises at 28 knots, with only 285 hours on the engines. Mercury joystick piloting makes close-quarters maneuvering straightforward. The hidden-outboard design creates a clean profile while the shallow 2.3-foot draft suits sandbar exploration and casual coastal cruising.

The open layout centers on social space: a large aft sunpad, outdoor galley with full-size appliances, wide walkaround decks, and flexible seating throughout. Twin Simrad GO12 displays and a Simrad VHF radio handle navigation. A powered platform XL stern extension and canvas awnings provide shade and add functionality to the deck.

Below, two cabins and one head support overnight stays. The bow cabin has a double berth; the stern cabin features a U-shaped lounge. The bathroom is fully enclosed with shower. Air conditioning and a 4kW generator provide comfort. Interior appliances include a 65-liter fridge, cooktop, microwave, and ice-maker. A JL Audio system handles entertainment.

Standard equipment includes Flexiteek artificial teak decking, twin fixed tables, swimming ladder, electric windlass with anchor, carbon trim accents, LED navigation and decorative lighting, bilge pumps, bow thruster, and dynamic trim control via Zipwake stabilization. The boat holds approximately 343 gallons of fuel and 66 gallons of fresh water, with capacity for 12 passengers.
