2023 Defiance Admiral 220 EX

The 2023 Defiance Admiral 220 EX is a 24.5-foot sportfish built on a full composite fiberglass hull with flotation foam and Coosa board construction. Powered by a single Yamaha 200 SHO engine, it draws fuel from a 100-gallon poly tank and carries a 42-gallon bait tank fitted with a two-scoop lid and cutting board. The design emphasizes offshore capability with a practical pilothouse layout built for range and efficiency in the mid-sized sportfish category.

The boat features a functional cabin with a berth and cuddy cushions, alongside a full glass and metal frame locking door. Deck equipment includes a rod rocket launcher with aft spreader lights, raw water washdown hose, stainless steel swim ladder, in-gunnel rod holders, cockpit rails, and marine matting on the engine bracket swim step. A starboard cooler box and foredeck safety hatch complete the working layout.

Standard systems include hydraulic trim tabs, side-opening sliding cabin windows, an Armstrong offshore engine bracket, a reinforced 1.25-inch bow rail, and in-hull safety flotation foam. The battery compartment is housed inside the pilothouse to remain dry and corrosion-free. Heavy duty reinforced through-hull mounting pads are integrated into the bilge.
