The Everglades 243 is a 24-foot center console built on a fiberglass hull and powered by a single 300 hp Yamaha gasoline engine. The boat combines shallow-water capability with offshore range, accommodating both backcountry and open-water fishing.
The layout centers on a wide casting platform at the bow with integrated seating, supported by low-profile powder-coated rails and pop-up cleats. Twin foldaway stern seats flank the livewell; when folded, they open up a large aft casting deck. A hardtop comes standard and can be fitted with an upper station for elevated sight lines.
The boat accepts several popular upgrades: a GPS-enabled trolling motor, optional jackplate, and lifting platforms to access shallow water. These additions extend the boat's reach into areas typically beyond the scope of similar-sized craft.
