2023 Excess 11

The 2023 Excess 11 is a 37-foot cruising catamaran built for both comfort and active sailing. Its fiberglass hull carries CE Class A certification for open-ocean capability. Twin helm stations provide direct steering control, while the Pulse Line rig and low boom contribute to responsive handling suitable for short-handed crews. All control lines lead back to the helms, simplifying deck management underway.

Below deck, the three-cabin layout includes a spacious owner's cabin with 2-meter berths and two heads with generous bathroom space. The saloon is bright and open, with a compact galley fully equipped for provisioning. Cabin design incorporates cutaway corners to ease sheet handling during sail changes. The cockpit is sized for comfortable day sailing and extended cruising alike.

Power comes from twin 58-horsepower Yammer diesel engines with 600 hours of running time. The boat is equipped with a generator (150 hours), air conditioning, and a watermaker that has been tested but remains unused. Maximum speed reaches 10 knots. The hull form and modest displacement are designed to give substantial interior volume for a sub-40-foot catamaran while maintaining ease of handling for passage-making or coastal cruising.
