The 2023 Fat Cat Boats Sniper 25 is a center console built around a distinctive hybrid hull design. The bottom transitions from a modified V-planing hull at the bow, through a pontoon cat section amidship, to a double-stepped pad tunnel at the stern, finished with a key-slot transom. This progression delivers a stable, smooth ride while enabling shallow-water performance and handling. The stepped pad tunnel and key-slot transom reduce deadrise and direct water to the prop for responsive shallow-water acceleration and maneuverability.

The boat is constructed from hand-laid composite materials throughout, with no wood in its structure. The two-piece cap and hull design was engineered with close attention to weight distribution and balance to maximize performance. The 25-foot fiberglass hull runs on a single gasoline engine.
