The 2023 Fountain 38 Tournament Edition is a center-console fishing boat powered by triple Mercury 400 Verado outboards, delivering 1,200 horsepower. Built from fiberglass, this 38-foot boat features Fountain's distinctive hull design with a 10-foot-6-inch beam, 20.75-degree deadrise, and a maximum draft of 2 feet 7 inches. The boat includes hydraulic trim tabs, a bow thruster, and hydraulic steering for responsive handling in varied conditions.

The electronics package is comprehensive, featuring dual Garmin GPSmap 8616 multifunction displays, a Garmin GMR Fantom 54 radar, full-function Garmin hydraulic autopilot, and a Mercury VesselView 903 engine display. Navigation and communication equipment includes AIS and a VHF radio with antenna. A premium JL Audio system with six LED speakers, dual 10-inch subwoofers, and 1,000 watts of amplification provides entertainment throughout the boat.

The cockpit layout centers on fishing functionality. Twin 110-quart livewells, a 110-quart Frigid Rigid tackle cooler on rolling slides, and four electric reel outlets support serious offshore work.
