The 2023 Fountain 38 Tournament Edition is a center console designed for offshore fishing and extended cruising. Built on a fiberglass hull, the boat measures 38 feet in length with a 10-foot-6-inch beam and runs triple Mercury 400 Verado engines producing 1,200 horsepower total. The engines feature white Mohawk paint and black package trim, paired with DTS controls and a Reverso automatic engine flushing system.
Navigation and fish-finding electronics include dual Garmin GPSmap 8616 16-inch displays, a Garmin GMR Fantom 54 radar, Garmin autopilot with hydraulic function, an AIS 315 VHF radio, and an Airmar B175H transducer. Mercury VesselView 903 display rounds out the engine monitoring suite. The helm is outfitted with joystick control, hydraulic steering, and a full JL Audio premium system with six 7.7-inch LED speakers, two 10-inch LED subwoofers, and dual amplifiers.
Fishing features include K-plane hydraulic trim tabs, a bow thruster, twin pressurized livewells, a 110-quart tackle center cooler on rolling slides, Gemlux outrigger bases and 18-foot collapsible hybrid poles, and four electric reel outlets. Deck amenities feature molded fiberglass upholstered bow seating with storage, removable transom and seat cushions, a starboard-side dive door with ladder, and Shadow-Caster RGB underwater and cockpit lighting. An electric anchor windlass with rode kit, polished stainless steel plow anchor, chain, and braided rope complete the ground tackle.
An enclosed head with ceramic toilet, fresh and raw water holding tanks, washdown systems including a transom shower, and battery charging round out the onboard systems. The boat was built in 2023.
