The Fountaine Pajot Aura 51 is a 2023 catamaran built for extended cruising, offering substantial deck space and interior volume. At 52 feet long and nearly 27 feet wide, this hull provides the stability and comfort expected of a modern cruising cat. The design balances performance with livability, working equally well for coastal passages and longer offshore voyages.

The Maestro 5-cabin layout sleeps the full party with five separate heads, each equipped with electric toilets. The interior flows naturally from the bright main saloon through the galley to the cockpit, all finished to a high standard. Five cabin berths with slat bases and generous stowage support extended time at sea. A washer-dryer combination, integrated plancha, and 100-liter-per-hour watermaker handle day-to-day life aboard.

Twin Volvo D2 diesel engines of 75 horsepower each power the boat, paired with feathering propellers for efficiency under sail. The shallow 1.58-meter draft opens access to protected anchorages. A full complement of sails includes a full-batten mainsail with lazy jack, a gennaker on pole, and electric winches. Power generation comes from 2000 watts of solar panels and a 3000-watt inverter.

The boat carries professional-grade electronics: a Garmin Smart Cruising package with autopilot, GPS, AIS, and radar. Bose speakers and Fusion audio deliver entertainment, with television and hi-fi onboard. Cockpit amenities include fixed bimini shade with protection panels, lounge seating and cushions, a bar refrigerator, and an 11-foot dinghy with 25-horsepower outboard. A 10-person life raft, complete safety gear, and fresh antifouling and epoxy primer complete the outfit.
