The Fountaine Pajot Thira 80 is a 2023 sailing catamaran built by the French shipyard to represent their flagship design. At nearly 79 feet with a 36-foot beam, this fiberglass multihull combines traditional sailing capability with dual 850-horsepower Cummins engines, delivering a cruising speed of 10 knots and maximum speed of 13 knots.
The yacht features nine cabins and five heads arranged across its wide beam to maximize interior space and light. Outdoor living is central to the design: an expansive beach club platform at the stern opens to the water for swimming and watersports, while a flybridge above includes dual steering stations, lounge seating, dining, and a bar equipped with solar panels. The main cockpit accommodates up to 12 guests with sofas and sunbeds, and a forward cockpit houses an additional bar, saloon, and jacuzzi. Fold-down terraces on both sides extend the usable deck area and frame sea views.
The design maintains Fountaine Pajot's signature elements—sleek lines, inverted bows, and panoramic portholes—while introducing expanded spatial concepts throughout the accommodation and social areas.
