This 2023 Freeman 47 is a center console built for serious offshore capability. Powered by four Mercury 400 V10 engines producing 1,600 hp total, the boat cruises at 50 knots and reaches 70 knots at top speed. Mercury joystick control with Skyhook integration comes standard. The engines were installed in 2025 and carry factory warranty through October 2028, plus extended Gold Coverage to October 2030 with approximately 200 hours on them.
Electronics and systems run comprehensive. Twin Simrad NS03s 24-inch displays, a 9-inch Simrad NSS3s rear-facing screen, and Simrad autopilot form the navigation core. Sounder capability includes a Broadband Chirp module with 1k and 3k transducers plus 3D sidescan. Mercury Vessel View camera system, dual iCom VHF radios, FLIR thermal imaging, and Starlink connectivity round out the bridge. A 50-inch curved LED light bar and multi-color underwater LEDs provide illumination.
The sound system is substantial: JL Audio components throughout including dual 12-inch and dual 10-inch subwoofers in the bow and amidships, eight speakers across multiple locations, and six 7-inch speakers in the hardtop. Interior features dual-row seating, a rear-facing mezzanine, a tackle station at the leaning post, and port and starboard dive doors. Outboard amenities include a 23-foot outrigger pair, teak rocket launcher with Gemlux bases, removable tuna tubes, a cutting table, electric grill, and plumbed marine head. A full polycarbonate enclosure, Zipwake trim tabs, and onboard pressure washer complete the list. An Edson carbon fiber steering wheel provides control. Haze Grey hull with two-tone grey upholstery finishes the exterior appearance.
