The 2023 Grady-White Freedom 285 is a 28-foot dual console built on a fiberglass hull and powered by twin 300-horsepower Yamaha engines capable of 54 to 55 mph. The boat was custom ordered and delivered in June 2023, used exclusively on fresh water, and stored under cover. It runs on ethanol-free fuel only.
The hull features a painted Harbor Blue finish in pristine condition with no scratches or wear to the bottom, sides, or keel. Factory options include a bow thruster, Helm Master joystick with autopilot and set point, bow filler, hardtop rod holders, and ski pylon. Navigation and electronics comprise a Garmin 8616 XSV MFD, 24-inch Garmin dome radar, VHF with remote microphone, Sirius weather capability, induction helm phone charger, and an Airmar B150 TD transducer. A polished stainless steel anchor is included.
Additional upgrades enhance comfort and functionality. Custom seagrass deck carpet secured with velcro allows for easy removal and cleaning. Four hardtop speakers—two factory-installed and two additional units mounted forward above the helm—provide improved audio throughout the boat. Two RAZOR hardtop lights illuminate the upper hardtop structure. Ivory front and side curtains are included. The twin engines carry a five-year Yamaha warranty extending to July 1, 2029. An optional dual-axle AmeraTrail trailer with surge brakes is available separately; the trailer is in excellent condition with minimal tire wear.
