The 2023 Heesen 55m Fast Displacement Steel is a modern motor yacht built on the shipyard's proven 55 Steel platform. This sixth hull in the series incorporates refinements developed through successive builds and owner feedback. The fast-displacement steel hull, engineered by Van Oossanen, balances efficiency with range and shallow draft, delivering the volume and proportions of a significantly larger yacht within the 55-metre design. Twin MTU diesel engines producing 2,680 horsepower provide a cruising speed of 13 knots with a maximum speed of 15.5 knots.
The exterior profile was designed by Omega Architects with interior spaces created by Luca Dini, combining Italian design sensibility with Dutch engineering. The accommodation includes 13 cabins spread throughout the yacht. An 82-square-metre owner's apartment provides generous private quarters, while the 110-square-metre sundeck ranks among the finest in her category. The beach club has been improved to include sauna and hammam facilities.
The yacht comes with extended warranty coverage on the MTU engines and generators, supporting long-term reliability and operational efficiency.
