The Hobie Mirage Outback is a 12-foot 9-inch fishing kayak built for stability and hands-free propulsion. It measures 34 inches across the beam and weighs 85 pounds dry, with a load capacity of 425 pounds fully rigged. The kayak is powered by a MirageDrive 180 pedal system paired with Turbo Kick-Up Fins that retract automatically upon contact, making it well-suited for shallow or obstacle-laden waters. The dual-rudder steering system provides responsive control in tight quarters.

The wide, stable hull is designed to support standing position for casting and sight work. The deck features EVA pads for grip and traction. A Guardian transducer shield and rod holders are integrated into the design, along with H-Rail and H-Track accessory mounts for customization.
