The Jeanneau 65 is a flagship bluewater cruising yacht built with long-range offshore capability, short-handed handling, and the comfort of a boat in this class. The hull's long waterline and efficient form deliver strong performance both under sail and power. She performs particularly well in light air and carries the displacement, form stability, and twin-rudder configuration that provide control in heavy weather. Under power, practical cruising speeds run around 8.5 knots, with a maximum of approximately 10.5 knots. A single 175-horsepower Volvo Penta diesel powers the yacht.

The boat was extensively customized over six months for genuine offshore sailing and family liveaboard cruising. The sail plan includes a full North Sails performance inventory with main, genoa, jib, and gennaker, along with an inner forestay, running backstays, and dual boom-preventer systems. A high-capacity diesel generator and dual Remoran hydro-generators provide energy independence and redundancy, supported by expanded battery capacity and upgraded charging systems. Serious offshore safety equipment includes dual Viking liferafts and comprehensive long-range safety and recovery systems.

The accommodation layout encompasses three cabins and three heads, designed to support extended cruising with family aboard. The yacht features full air conditioning, a hardtop for weather protection, and quiet systems throughout. A fiberglass hull with a dark blue finish distinguishes the yacht from standard production versions.

The boat has been actively used for long-range island cruising, ocean-passage preparation, and family holidays in the Caribbean. EU VAT has been fully paid on the yacht.
