The Lagoon 55 is a 2023 fiberglass sailing catamaran built on a 54-foot platform with a 29.5-foot beam. Designed by the VPLP/Nauta team, she combines modern cruising capability with the spacious, stable hull form that defines the Lagoon multihull range. Twin Nanni saildrive engines provide propulsion and maneuverability in confined waters, with 300 hours on the engines at delivery.
Below deck, the layout provides four separate cabins arranged around comfortable common areas. Large windows and portlights bring natural light throughout the interior, creating an open feel across the full beam of the hull. This arrangement suits both private ownership and charter operation, with good separation of guest and owner spaces.
The catamaran design delivers the sea-keeping stability characteristic of the type, supported by substantial fuel and water tank capacity suited to extended passage-making. Her twin saildrive configuration allows confident handling under power when required while maintaining the sailing performance the design promises.
