The 2023 Leopard 53 Powercat is a fourth-generation catamaran built on the proven platform of its acclaimed predecessor. At 53 feet in length with a 25-foot beam, this fiberglass hull combines the stability and fuel efficiency of catamaran design with motor yacht comfort. Twin Yammer diesel engines deliver 992 horsepower, enabling a cruising speed of 17.5 knots and a maximum speed of 24 knots. The catamaran design offers approximately 50% better fuel economy than comparable monohull motor yachts.
The interior accommodates five cabins and five heads, with flexible layout options ranging from three to four owner cabins plus crew quarters. The owner's cabin features a walk-around bed, walk-in closet, and double vanity. Cool tones and modern finishes define the living spaces throughout. The saloon features expansive panoramic windows, an L-shaped lounge to port, and a two-person settee to starboard, with optional interior navigation station positioning. A forward saloon door provides direct access to the foredeck.
The galley includes a full-size refrigerator-freezer combination, Staron countertops, four-burner stove, microwave oven, sink with faucet, and substantial storage. The flybridge helm station offers excellent sightlines, while generous seating areas and a large dining table provide outdoor entertaining space on the upper deck.
