The 2023 Nautitech 44 Open is a performance cruising catamaran built around an open cockpit-saloon design that merges the helm stations with the main living area, creating an expansive connected space. Twin Volvo Penta 50 hp diesel engines with saildrive provide propulsion, while the sail plan includes a square-top mainsail, genoa, gennaker, and bowsprit. Navigation equipment comprises a B&G suite with HALO radar. The composite hull measures 43.67 feet in length with a 24.17-foot beam.
The yacht accommodates six cabins with two heads. Onboard systems include a Victron inverter and charger, a Kubota generator of approximately 9.5 kVA output, and a watermaker producing around 160 liters per hour. Climate control is provided by air conditioning in the saloon. The galley features a freezer and the cockpit has a refrigerator.
The deck layout emphasizes comfort and usability, with a forward lounge furnished with cushions and sun canopy, synthetic teak surfaces on the cockpit and aft platforms, and electric winches for sail handling. Full cockpit enclosure is installed. Solar panels mounted on the davits contribute to the electrical system.
Delivered in July 2023, the boat comes well equipped from the factory with additional upgrades added post-delivery to support extended cruising.
