2023 NEEL 51

The 2023 Neel 51 is a 52-foot fiberglass trimaran designed for bluewater cruising with exceptional stability and living space. Its 29-foot beam spans three hulls, providing the platform for spacious deck areas and comfortable motion at sea. Power comes from a single 75 hp Volvo Penta diesel engine paired with a 9 kW generator. The boat carries 600 liters of fuel and 600 liters of fresh water, with four holding tanks of 40 liters each.

The interior is arranged in a rare four-cabin layout, each a double berth, with four full heads and showers throughout. The main saloon and expansive cockpit combine practical sailing stations with comfortable social spaces finished in premium materials and synthetic teak decking. The galley includes induction hobs, a convection oven, dishwasher, and substantial refrigeration. A Bosch washing machine handles laundry. Climate control is provided by a Webasto central air-conditioning and heating system.

The sail plan is comprehensive: INCIDENCE Hydranet main and genoa, self-tacking and removable jibs, ISTEC Parasailor, North Sails Code 0, and asymmetrical spinnaker for varied conditions. Navigation electronics include two B&G Zeus 3S chartplotters, Simrad autopilot with dual control, radar, and instruments for wind, depth, and speed. A Pepwave MAX BR1 Pro router with 5G and Starlink satellite internet provide connectivity. The boat is fitted with a bow thruster, electrical winches, and underwater lighting throughout.

Power and energy systems are robust: 4,012 watts of solar generation from 34 Solbian Flex panels feed six Mastervolt lithium batteries. Additional systems include a fresh water maker, air compressor for diving, a 3.4-meter Highfield tender with 20 hp Honda outboard, upgraded 37 kg anchor, and a transom-mounted gas grill. With 1,279 hours on the engine, the boat was built in 2023.
