The 2023 Nimbus 405 Flybridge is a 43-foot fiberglass cruiser built for extended coastal cruising. Powered by twin Volvo Penta D6 diesel engines producing 760 horsepower, the boat delivers a cruising speed of 17 knots with a top speed of 27 knots. A Humphree auto trim tab system with active trim supports smooth handling and efficient fuel consumption.
The three-stateroom, two-head layout accommodates comfortable overnight cruising. Climate control comes from an Espar diesel furnace paired with a Dometic triple-zone reverse-cycle heat and air conditioning system. Power generation is handled by an 8 kilowatt WhisperWatt diesel generator. A Spectra Catalina 340 watermaker supports extended range cruising, and Starlink provides satellite connectivity.
The flybridge features a custom Bimini canvas enclosure along with custom cockpit and storage covers. Additional amenities include a Hurley davit system, racks for four kayaks or paddleboards, new Icom VHF radios with antennas at both the lower helm and flybridge, and two Isotherm refrigeration units integrated under the port settee. Factory mattress toppers and two spare five-blade propellers are included.
