About This Yacht
The 2023 Nitro Z20 Pro is a 20-foot bay boat built on the NVT hull design, which uses parabolic curves instead of traditional strakes to deliver a faster, smoother ride with improved handling and lift while on plane. Power comes from a single gasoline engine paired with a 12-inch adjustable jack plate and stainless steel propeller. The boat arrives rigged on a custom-fit, tandem-axle steel trailer with 14-inch aluminum wheels, surge disc brakes, and a 7-pin connector.
The console features a modular, aerodynamic design with expanded leg room and a new 5-inch digital touchscreen. Two Lowrance HDS LIVE 9 fishfinders—one gimbal-mounted at the bow and one flush-mounted at the console—are networked together with a Lowrance Ghost 36V trolling motor, all connected via NMEA and Ethernet communication. The windscreen is removable acrylic and tinted.
Accommodation centers on comfort and fishing capability. The bow offers 42.5 square feet of padded, anti-fatigue deck with non-skid mats, a bike seat with pedestal, and a folding fishing seat. Twin 19-gallon aft livewells feature digital timers, rounded corners, and dual remote drain controls, supported by a 500-GPH aerator/fill pump and a 750-GPH recirculation system. The driver and passenger sit on low, flat-mounted seats with the console offering a dash light dimmer.
Construction uses 100% composite deck core bonded chemically and fastened mechanically with stainless steel fasteners every 2 inches. The hull is foam-filled with a gelcoated stringer/liner system and full-width fiberglass-encapsulated transom. The Z-CORE seating system incorporates Force Flex suspension and a contoured frame designed with input from Kevin VanDam. Electrical systems include an Interstate cranking battery, LED courtesy light at the console, and LED-lighted bow gear storage with an automotive-style labeled fuse panel.
