The Pogo 44 is a 2023 performance cruising yacht built with a retractable keel design. Powered by a single Volvo D2 diesel engine of 49 horsepower, it combines racing heritage with comfortable offshore capability. The boat features a carbon mast by Marechal and is equipped with an extensive sail plan including a 50 m² genoa on roller furling, a 30 m² staysail, a 150 m² asymmetrical spinnaker, and an 86 m² gennaker on roller.
The interior layout comprises three cabins: a forward cabin and two aft cabins, with a convertible saloon table that transforms into a double berth. The cockpit is well-appointed with a large companionway hood, bimini top, retractable carbon spinnaker pole for asymmetrical work, folding cockpit table, and custom cushioning. A davit system with halyard allows dinghy launching.
Navigation and autopilot systems are comprehensive: a B&G H5000 Hydra autopilot with wireless WR10 remote, a Vulcan 9 GPS chartplotter, Halo20 radar, and AIS receiver. A marine PC with routing software is installed. Power generation includes 222 watts of solar panels with Victron regulators, a 600-watt hydrogenerator, and hot and cold pressure water systems. The boat carries a Schenker Z30L/h desalination unit, an Eberspacher D4++ heating system, and a 2023 eight-person life raft. A Yamaha 2.5 hp outboard powers the included six-person Plastimo tender.
