The Rand Leisure 28 is a 35-foot fiberglass day-cruiser with Scandinavian design that balances minimalist aesthetics with robust functionality. Powered by a single Mercruiser 350 hp gasoline engine, it reaches speeds of 36 knots and cruises at 24 knots. The beam of 8.4 meters creates an exceptionally wide platform, contributing to the boat's stability and generous interior volume.

The cockpit dominates the layout, offering multiple social zones with seating for up to twelve people, an adjustable dining table that converts to a king-size sundeck, and a triple aft sun lounge. The full galley and wet bar serve as the entertainment hub. Forward is a naturally lit cabin with a queen-size berth and storage shelves, alongside a two-head toilet compartment. The design prioritizes movement and comfort throughout, with a streamlined helm console, tinted windscreen with grab rails, and a spacious foredeck accessible via a practical windshield hatch.

Standard equipment includes a Raymarine Axiom 7 touch screen, stereo system, LED navigation lights and mood lighting, electric and manual bilge pumps, fire extinguisher, convertible helm seats, faux teak decking, and an oversized swim platform with ladder. Factory-fitted additions on this example include a bow thruster, electric windlass with anchor, deluxe pressurized water system with electric toilet and holding tanks, depth sensor, shore power, interceptors, bimini top, boat cover, custom diamond-stitched leather upholstery, and fenders with mounts.

The lightweight composite construction using recycled plastics and bio-based hybrid materials reduces fuel consumption while maintaining structural strength. The rounded hull edges and wide beam contribute to easy boarding and a stable platform in various sea conditions.
