The 2023 Ranger Z521R is a 21.75-foot fiberglass bay boat powered by a single 250-horsepower Mercury engine. Built on an updated design platform, the boat combines modern styling with a comprehensive standard equipment package. The hull features a foam-filled fiberglass stringer system for durability and flotation management.

The layout prioritizes fishing functionality with tiered rod storage systems on both sides—three shelves on the port locker and two on the starboard—capable of holding rods up to 9 feet long. Tackle storage integrates throughout the boat, including a power ventilation rod storage system. The console features heated, sliding Cloud Nine air-ride seating with power-adjustable lumbar support. Additional seating includes premium marine upholstery bucket seats with center storage, a bike seat with pro pole, and an all-weather fold-down seat with power pedestal. A double-wall 10-quart insulated cooler with drain keeps ice throughout the day, and a line-spooling station sits under the aft lid.

Electronics center on two Lowrance HDS LIVE units—a 9-inch at the console and a 7-inch at the bow—paired with Lowrance AI integration. A Ranger RIDE System 9-inch touchscreen provides full-boat control and monitoring. Additional systems include a Minn Kota Fortrex 80 24-volt trolling motor, dual-channel Dual Pro charger with lithium capability, and digital switching with foot-activated trim buttons at the bow. The console features push-to-start ignition with proximity key fob and wireless phone charging.
