The 2023 Reef Runner 340 is a semi-custom center console built on a fiberglass hull and powered by twin Mercury V8 engines producing 600 horsepower combined. With roughly 200 hours on the engines, the boat cruises in the mid-30s to low-40s range and reaches the mid-50s at full throttle. It measures 34 feet in length with a 10-foot beam, balancing performance with a stable, comfortable ride enhanced by Seakeeper trim tabs.
The layout prioritizes both fishing and cruising comfort. Forward seating includes integrated bow cushions with removable backrests and storage, an anchor locker, and three in-deck storage boxes plus an insulated kill box. The console features a deluxe helm station with a tournament leaning post and custom Llebroc chairs, while the cockpit holds a rear-facing cooler chair, see-through transom baitwell, and two in-deck insulated fish boxes. An oversized hard top with rod holders, downlights, and spreader lights spans the upper deck. Additional rod holders ring the gunwels, and outrigger bases support 18-foot telescoping poles.
Electronics center on a complete Simrad package: two 16-inch screens, two VHF radios, autopilot, and radar. Additional systems include a Mercury VesselView display, underwater lights, electric reel outlets, and a Marine Guardian protection system. A Rockford Fosgate audio system with 4 subwoofers, 2 amplifiers, and 10 speakers rounds out onboard entertainment.
One head with holding tank and macerator serves the boat. A bow thruster aids maneuvering, while freshwater and saltwater systems with transom shower support extended use. The hull carries a warranty through 2033, and the engines remain under warranty through October 2026.
